20 Years of Continuous Monitoring
For more than 20 years, The Siracusa Company has been providing continuous quarterly audits for all active new home tracts in the Santa Clarita Valley community. This quarterly publication provides residential and commercial real estate developers, appraisers, lending institutions, real estate investment trusts, and others with accurate, up-to-date and objective information regarding housing development activity, pricing, sales, inventory, and other performance measures in this marketplace.
Historically, the Santa Clarita Valley grew as an assemblage of small, localized communities including Canyon Country, Castaic, Newhall, and Saugus. Beginning in the late 1950's, Newhall Land & Farming Company created the master-planned community of Valencia, which became a major stimulus for local real estate and economic growth. In the late 1980's Dale Poe Development Corp. initiated the Stevenson Ranch master-planned community, which further added to the breadth of this far-sighted region. To this day, each community has its own distinctive flavor and is treated as an individual submarket within our overall database. Our Canyon Country boundary area also includes Acton, a semi-rural enclave of country and equestrian living.
Learn More about the Market

We further supplement the report with current and historical information on building permits and a section summarizing future projects, such as those under construction, but not yet open for sales and others which have a probability of starting in the months or year ahead.
